History

Our Company

VITMAR, LLC was founded in 2000. For over 20 years, we've provided high-quality, trusted Carpentry, Restoration, Remodeling, Home Improvement, Handyman, and General Contracting Services in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

Our owner, Witold Golab, studied carpentry in his native Poland and honed his craft through an apprenticeship in Germany. Prior to immigrating to the United States, he ran a construction and carpentry business in London, England.

We've made a name for ourselves working in the historic neighborhoods of Georgetown, Kalorama, West End, Spring Valley, Palisades, Cathedral Heights, Chevy Chase, Dupont Circle, and Capitol Hill. We strive to balance old world craftsmanship and character with modern materials, technology, and amenities. In our industry, reputation is everything. We are committed to delivering exceptional work aligned with our customer's requirements and timelines.
